The Pantene Gold series collection was designed for  relaxed, natural, or transitioning hair. The hair care line was co-created by African American scientists, stylists and dermatologists who understand the unique textures of hair. Each product was created to improve moisture, strength, smoothness while adding shine without any sulfates, dyes and promises 72 hours of moisture.

Do not be fooled by its small size! The Pantene Gold Series Moisture Boost Shampoo does make your hair instantly soft even with a small amount. To test this, I wore my hair freely without a protective natural style (afro) for two days. Once the hair is wet, use a small amount about the size of a quarter or two pumps. Rub it into the palms and massage it onto the hair starting at the ends to the roots. You’ll be able to run your fingers through your hair by the time you reach your roots. I was quite surprised by the results! "it feels amazing on my hair, and drastically cuts down the time to detangle. It detangles thick, naturally curly hair so you can run your ringers through it. -- not common at all for women of color." Dr. Rolanda Wilkerson stated while shampooing with Moisture Boost Shampoo. The infused argan oil makes the product line smell quite wonderful while adding moisture to your tresses! The Pantene Gold Series Moisture Boost Conditioner will strengthen you hair for you to be able to comb through it while your hair is still wet. (Even if you are natural) I will recommend using this product as a leave in conditioner. It does soften the hair but does not give the same effects as the Moisture Boost Shampoo. The Pantene Gold Series Hydrating Butter-Creme does soften hair whether it is used on dry or wet  detangled hair. Dr. LaShaunda McNeil mixes the Hydrating Oil and Butter-Creme together while wrapping her hair at night. The creme is made with water that allows the hair to be soft and more manageable. I recommend using while the hair is slightly damp for natural curly hair.
